Job summary

IDEA Public Schools is seeking dedicated teachers for its College Prep campuses in Texas. You will ensure students master academic and social skills necessary for college, while embodying IDEA’s values daily.

The role includes delivering rigorous curriculum, using data to drive instruction, and providing college-credit opportunities through dual-enrollment or AP/IB courses. The position offers a starting salary of $57,500 with stipends based on certifications and campus leadership, plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution (required).
• K-12 classroom teaching experience preferred.
• State teaching certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement state standards and IDEA curricula and assessments.
• Submit weekly lesson plans two weeks in advance for feedback.
• Track student progress and adjust lessons weekly.
• Communicate student progress to families weekly.
• Maintain a student-centered classroom and behavior system.
• Participate in weekly meetings and after-school duties.
