Job summary

Georgia-Pacific in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a maintenance professional for a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician role. You will support packaging operations, troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems, read schematics, and operate on a 2-2-3 shift schedule from 7pm to 7am at 3100 Southport Rd.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in industrial maintenance, experience with 480V motors and DC drives, and familiarity with CMMS and hydraulics/pneumatics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance experience or related education with foundational hands-on work.
• Experience with 3-phase 480-volt AC motors and DC drives.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair machinery and mechanical equipment (motors, controls, PLCs, drive systems, hydraulics/pneumatics).
• Use diagrams and manuals to diagnose issues and implement fixes.
• Lubricate equipment and improve lubrication practices where applicable.
• Perform physically demanding tasks including lifting and working in elevated spaces on rotating shifts.
