Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC is hiring Multi-Craft Maintenance Technicians for the Augusta, GA corrugated packaging facility. You will support safety, uptime and efficiency by performing planned maintenance and urgent repairs on production equipment.

Expect to troubleshoot motors, drives, PLCs, sensors, hydraulics and pneumatics, and to use hand and power tools on a 2-2-3 shift schedule. Training begins on 1st shift for one month.

Qualifications

2+ years maintenance technician experience in manufacturing.
Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical issues.
Experience reading electrical schematics and technical drawings.
Able to work any shift, holidays, weekends, and overtime.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair industrial corrugated box making machinery.
Troubleshoot electrical motors, drives, PLCs, sensors and relays.
Perform routine preventative maintenance and unscheduled repairs.
Work with mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using tools.
