Job summary

Georgia-Pacific in Cleveland, TN is hiring a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift. You will troubleshoot, maintain and repair machinery, read schematics, and adhere to safety rules while supporting corrugated packaging production.

Eligible candidates have 3+ years of maintenance experience or an associate degree/Industrial Maintenance Certification, plus experience with 3-phase motors, PLCs, hydraulics, and low voltage controls.

Qualifications

3+ years of industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance experience or equivalent education
Experience with 3-phase 480-volt AC motors and DC drives
Experience reading blueprints, drawings, and electrical schematics
Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
Experience with low voltage control systems

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment including motors, controls, PLCs, drives, hydraulics and conveyors
Use diagrams and manuals to diagnose issues and perform fixes
Lubricate equipment and suggest improvements to lubrication programs
Perform physically demanding tasks including lifting and working in elevated spaces
Adhere to safety rules and regulations
