Job summary

MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West). You will provide compassionate RN care in a fast-paced environment, focusing on patients with congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA, and sepsis. Telemetry monitoring and advanced airway support are routine.

Expect rotating shifts, weekends and holidays, with bi-weekly hours totaling 72.0. Applicants must hold Ohio RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and meet PRN requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide RN care on the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West.
• Perform EKG interpretation and monitor telemetry.
• Manage central line care and airway support (Bi-PAP/High Flow).
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies) and patient care coordination.
