IDEA Public Schools is seeking an experienced IDEA Academy teacher dedicated to helping every student master academics and essential social skills. You will plan rigorous instruction, assess mastery, and use data to tailor support for each learner.

The role emphasizes collaboration with families, adherence to state standards, and engagement in a vibrant school community focused on preparing scholars for college success.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required from an accredited four‑year institution.
• Certified teaching credential or eligibility to obtain TEA certification.
• Experience in a K‑12 classroom setting preferred; bilingual certification is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Implement state standards and IDEA curricula and assessments to meet ambitious academic expectations.
• Submit weekly lesson plans two weeks in advance for feedback.
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet needs; maintain gradebook weekly.
• Communicate progress with students and families on a regular basis; use data to drive planning.
• Create a positive classroom environment and manage behavior in alignment with campus initiatives.
• Dedicate substantial time on campus; participate in tutoring or after‑school activities as needed.
