IDEA Public Schools is seeking dedicated teachers to ensure students master academic and social skills essential for college readiness. You will plan rigorous instruction, assess mastery, track progress, and engage families while embodying IDEA values.

Role requires leading impactful lessons, collaborating with teams, and maintaining a strong learning environment. Opportunities include stipends based on certifications, tuition reimbursement, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four‑year institution (required).
• Experience in a K‑12 classroom setting is strongly preferred.
• Reading Academies certification for K‑3 or willingness to obtain TX training within required timelines.

Responsabilités

• Implement state learning standards and IDEA curricula and assessments.
• Submit weekly lesson plans two weeks in advance for feedback.
• Track each student’s progress with formal/informal assessments and update grades weekly.
• Communicate students’ progress with students and families weekly.
• Maintain a clear behavior management system aligned to campus initiatives.
• Contribute to a positive school culture and collaborative family engagement.
• Host tutoring sessions after school or on Saturdays as needed.
