The Child Center of NY is seeking an Office Manager to organize and coordinate office operations across the agency to ensure optimal efficiency of programs. The Office Manager will support multiple NYC locations with essential clerical tasks and data management.

Key duties include enrollment intake, information distribution, handling inquiries, and maintaining DYCD online systems and records. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills are required for success.

Formación

  • High school diploma or equivalency required.
  • Knowledge of clerical practices and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Proficiency in Google Documents and Systems.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Ability to compose, respond to correspondents through email and phone.
  • Strong leadership, collaborative and diplomacy skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to plan and carry out assignments independently.
  • Ability to prioritize, adhere to timelines and multi-task.
  • Prepares statistical data for monthly board reports.
  • Monitors and maintains office supply inventory including ordering supplies.

The Office Manager is responsible for the organization and coordination of office operations, procedures and resources to ensure optimal efficiency of the program and Agency.

Hours:

Mon, Wed, Fri 2pm-6pm / Tues, Thurs 2:30pm-6pm

Essential Functions
  • Performs registration/enrollment/intake of families and children for services.
