Job summary

Summit Utilities, Inc. is seeking a Dispatcher for the Fort Smith, AR area to monitor, dispatch, and balance work orders for field personnel. This 4th shift role supports a 24-hour operation with overtime opportunities and a DOT-regulated environment.

The position requires excellent communication, basic math, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting. Prior SAP or mobile data dispatch experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers the phone and performs call-ahead requests for field technicians.
• Receives and dispatches emergency calls, locates, and customer complaints following procedures.
• Dispatches orders via Mobile Data.
• Coordinates daily operational requirements between local supervision and service technicians.
• Routes work to service technicians.
• Monitors orders and reroutes as needed.
• Prioritizes work orders and documents them.
• Resolves scheduling issues between Call Center, customers, and supervision.
• Monitors daily reconciliation of priority calls.
