Job summary

Summit Utilities, Inc. in Maumelle, AR, is seeking a 3rd shift Dispatcher to join our growing team. The role monitors, dispatches, and balances work orders to field personnel, ensuring safe and efficient service and providing clear information between customer service and field staff.

Hours are 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday. Requirements include a high school diploma, 2+ years of customer service or clerical experience with computerized systems, and familiarity with SAP or mobile

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of customer service or clerical experience using computerized systems.
• Desired SAP or mobile data dispatching experience and at least one year in gas distribution operations or dispatching.

Responsibilities

• Answers phone calls and performs call-ahead requests for field technicians.
• Receives and dispatches emergency calls, locates, and customer complaints per procedures.
• Dispatches orders via Mobile Data and radio.
• Coordinates daily operational requirements between local supervision and service technicians.
• Routes work to service technicians.
• Monitors and prioritizes work orders and documents them.
