Summit Utilities, Inc. seeks a Dispatcher for the 4th shift in Fort Smith, AR. The role monitors, dispatches, and balances field work orders to keep operations safe and efficient while providing clear communication between calls and field staff.

Key duties include answering calls, dispatching emergencies, routing work, and coordinating with supervision to optimize schedules. The shift runs Mon 4:00 PM–12:00 Midnight, Thu 12:00 Midnight–8:00 AM, Fri 12:00 Midnight–8:00 AM, Sat 8:00 AM–4:00 PM,

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
2+ years of customer service or clerical experience.
Experience with SAP or mobile data dispatching is preferred.
Gas distribution operations dispatch experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Answers the phone and handles call-ahead requests for field technicians.
Receives and dispatches emergency calls and locates requests while following procedures.
Dispatches orders via Mobile Data.
Coordinates daily operational needs between supervision and service technicians.
Routes work to service technicians and monitors order progress.
Prioritizes, documents, and reconciles daily priority calls.
Resolves scheduling issues to achieve optimal results.
Maintains clear communication with Call Center and customers.
Monitors daily reconciliation of all priority calls.
