Academies of Math and Science (AMS) is seeking a passionate 4th grade Math and Science Teacher to deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction and build foundational literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking skills.

The role emphasizes data-driven planning, collaboration with grade-level teams, PBIS, family engagement, and ongoing professional growth through weekly PD and school-wide initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• Arizona teaching certification in a relevant subject area.
• At least three years of K–12 teaching experience.
• Demonstrates strong classroom management skills.
• Data-driven instructional mindset with ability to analyze assessment data.
• Commitment to serving Title I and multilingual communities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction using AMS curriculum frameworks.
• Differentiate instruction to meet varied grade-level needs.
• Use formative and summative data to plan and intervene.
• Foster a structured, positive classroom environment and PBIS.
• Engage families and lead parent-teacher conferences.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams and instructional leaders.
