Academies of Math and Science (AMS) is seeking a passionate, data-driven 3rd grade Math and Science Teacher to deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction and build strong foundational literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking skills at the Glendale campus.

The role emphasizes differentiating instruction, PBIS, family engagement, and collaboration with grade-level teams, with ongoing professional development and opportunities for tutoring leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• Arizona teaching certification or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years of K–12 teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction per AMS curriculum frameworks.
• Differentiate instruction to support students at varied levels.
• Use formative and summative data to plan and intervene.
• Build foundational reading, writing, and mathematics skills.
• Establish a structured, positive, high-expectations classroom environment.
• Implement PBIS and preventative intervention strategies.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams and instructional leaders.
• Communicate progress to families and lead conferences.
