Academies of Math and Science in Glendale, AZ seeks a passionate 3rd Grade Math and Science Teacher to deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction and build strong literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking skills.

The ideal candidate will differentiate instruction, use data to drive planning, participate in PD and PLCs, engage families, and contribute to a positive, high-expectations classroom culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• Arizona teaching certification or eligible to obtain.
• Minimum of three years of K–12 teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rigorous standards-aligned instruction using AMS curriculum.
• Differentiate lessons to meet diverse learners.
• Use formative and summative data to guide planning and interventions.
• Build foundational reading, writing, and math skills.
• Establish a structured, high-expectations classroom environment.
• Support students’ social-emotional development and behavior.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams and instructional leaders.
• Engage families through regular progress updates and conferences.
