Academies of Math and Science (AMS) in Tucson is seeking a data-driven and culturally responsive 7th Grade Math Teacher to deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction and help scholars build strong mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills.

AMS teachers are collaborative professionals who believe all students can achieve at high levels and will participate in ongoing professional learning communities and school-wide improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• Arizona teaching certification in a relevant subject area.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned math instruction using AMS curriculum and frameworks.
• Differentiate instruction to support students at/above and below grade level.
• Use assessment data to monitor progress and adjust instruction.
• Collaborate with colleagues and instructional leaders to improve teaching practices.
• Communicate progress with families and lead conferences.
