MOHR Talent is hiring a 401(k) Specialist in Hartford, CT for an in-person, full-time role. You will advise plan sponsors and participants on design, compliance, and fiduciary duties while leading plan reviews and collaborating with advisory, investment, and administration teams.

Qualifications

• Series 66 required.
• Willingness to obtain Series 7.
• 3+ years of experience managing 401(k) plans or retirement services.
• Strong working knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to explain complex retirement concepts clearly to clients.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on 401(k) plan design, implementation, compliance, and fiduciary responsibilities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for plan sponsors and participants.
• Lead regular plan reviews to keep plans compliant and optimized.
• Partner with advisors, investment teams, and TPAs.
• Stay current on ERISA, IRS, and DOL updates.
• Support new business with retirement plan proposals and presentations.
