Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking a Retirement Plan Consultant in Bristol, CT for an in-person, full-time role paying $95,000 - $105,000 per year. You will advise clients on 401(k) plan design, implementation, compliance, and fiduciary responsibilities, serving as the primary contact for plan sponsors and participants.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of 401(k) plan experience, strong ERISA/IRS/DOL knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing 401(k) plans, retirement services, or related financial services.
• Strong working knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations.
• QKA, QKC, or CPFA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on 401(k) plan design, implementation, compliance, and fiduciary responsibilities
• Serve as the primary point of contact for plan sponsors and participants

Retirement Plan Consultant

A well established and growing wealth management firm with a collaborative team that cares about their people is hiring a Retirement Plan Consultant. You will be the go-to retirement plan expert, helping clients build and manage plans that fit their goals while helping participants feel confident about their futures.

What You’ll Do:

• Advise clients on 401(k) plan design, implementation, compliance, and fiduciary responsibilities
• Serve as the primary point of contact for plan sponsors and participants
• Lead regular plan reviews to keep plans compliant and optimized
• Partner with advisors, investment teams, and third-party administrators (TPAs)
• Stay current on ERISA, IRS, and DOL updates
• Support new business with retirement plan proposals and presentations

What You Bring:

• Series 66 required, and willingness to obtain your Series 7
• 3+ years of experience managing 401(k) plans, retirement services, or related financial services
• Strong working knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to explain complex retirement concepts in a client-friendly way
• QKA, QKC, or CPFA is a plus
