Job summary

MOHR Talent is hiring a 401(k) Specialist in Hartford, CT for an in-person, full-time role. You will advise plan sponsors and participants on design, compliance, and fiduciary duties while leading plan reviews and collaborating with advisory, investment, and administration teams.

The role requires Series 66 (Series 7 preferred), 3+ years of 401(k) experience, and strong ERISA/IRS/DOL knowledge. Excellent communication is essential; CPFA/QKA/QKC are a plus. Equal opportunity employer.

You will be the go-to retirement plan expert, helping clients build and manage plans that fit their goals while helping participants feel confident about their futures.

What You'll Do:

• Advise clients on 401(k) plan design, implementation, compliance, and fiduciary responsibilities

What You Bring:

• Series 66 required, and willingness to obtain your Series 7
• 3+ years of experience managing 401(k) plans, retirement services, or related financial services
• Strong working knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to explain complex retirement concepts in a client-friendly way
• QKA, QKC, or CPFA is a plus
