Job summary

Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Jefferson County hires an Afterschool Program Educator to deliver 4-H youth development in grades K-12 across several districts. You will teach STEAM, use established curricula, assist teachers, and help run after‑school activities with flexible hours, including evenings/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent education (GED/HS diploma + 1 year transferrable experience).
• Experience relevant to the role.

Responsibilities

• Teach 4-H after‑school programs (STEAM).
• Assist in creating lesson plans and delivering established curricula.
• Coordinate with schools and teachers for program integration.
• Provide staffing coverage for other After‑School Programs as needed.
• Support program evaluation and reporting as required.
