Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic education to real-world practice within a CVS Pharmacy. You will work under a pharmacist preceptor to learn SOPs, participate in patient counseling, and support immunization and clinical services.

You will gain hands-on experience through a structured training roadmap, contribute to safe dispensing, and collaborate with store teams to enhance patient care, while developing leadership and clinical skills.

Qualifications

Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required
Eligible to work as a Pharmacy Intern under CVS policies and applicable state regulations

Responsibilities

Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on KLEs
Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately
Deliver empathetic and caring service to patients and customers
Counsel patients and field medical questions under supervision of a licensed pharmacist
Attend to immunization services where state law permits and under supervision
