Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program designed to translate classroom learning into real-world pharmacy practice within our stores. You’ll work under a licensed pharmacist, following SOPs, and gain exposure to immunizations, prescription processing, and patient care while supporting daily pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Attend to pharmacy operations under supervision to ensure safe, efficient medication handling.
• Assist with prescription fulfillment, customer service, and patient counseling within SOPs.
• Support immunization services and other patient care activities as allowed by law.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and technicians to maintain accuracy and safety.
• Engage in training roadmap activities and gain exposure to store, district, and regional operations.
• Demonstrate empathy and uphold a safe, inclusive culture in interactions.
