Job summary

Pitney Bowes is hiring a Warehouse Operations Supervisor, 2nd Shift in Atlanta, Georgia at our Presort Services facility. Your schedule will be Monday through Friday from 4:00PM to 1:00AM EST. The annual base salary range for this role is $54,000.00 - $67,000.00.

This role also has a 6% field bonus. As a Warehouse Operations Supervisor you will work with the team to meet the company's productivity standards and requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience in a mail/production environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in production or mailing industry.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or Access; basic Word/Teams/Outlook.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work non-standard hours including weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Under direction from the Operations Manager or Assistant Operations Manager, organizes the mail flow on the production floor by assigning workers and assessing volumes and type of mail based on current staffing levels to meet postal deadlines.
• Manage the production workers on designated shift.
• Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and solving problems.
• Fulfills supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Oversees quality function throughout the production area.
• Assures TQM (Total Quality Management) processes and procedures are followed at all times.
• Assists Operations Manager in completing required USPS and internal reports, job costing reports and application of all USPS postal regulations.
• Assures clear and concise communication of pertinent information between shifts.
• Offers suggestions regarding increasing efficiency of use of equipment, working conditions, and motivation of employees.
• Be responsible for other duties as assigned.
