Job summary

Pitney Bowes Presort Services is hiring an Assistant Warehouse Operations Manager for the 3rd shift in Atlanta. The role leads a busy mailing operation, coordinating schedules, resources, and quality controls to meet USPS requirements and company targets.

You will drive performance, manage reports and relationships with USPS/PSI, and ensure safety and efficient transportation of client mail. This is a full-time, night-shift position based in Atlanta, GA.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of progressive production experience in a high-volume environment.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in an Operating Center averaging 5 million+ pieces per week.
• Ability to analyze USPS postal regulations and prepare reports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data reporting tools.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and promoting a safe workplace.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production schedules and capacity to meet daily/weekly requirements for equipment and staff.
• Monitor and adjust sort schemes in response to USPS changes or to improve efficiency.
• Prepare and ensure accuracy of USPS and internal reports and job costing details.
• Develop and maintain USPS-PSI relationships and communicate regulation changes.
• Analyze mail volumes and postage trends to optimize discounts and reduce costs.
• Ensure secure, safe, reliable transportation and timely delivery of client mail.
• Perform additional duties as required.
