Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain in the United States seeks an Operations Supervisor for the Perry Rd facility on the 3rd shift (Mon-Thu, 7:30pm–6am). You will lead daily warehouse operations, allocate resources, and ensure safety, quality, and KPI performance.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. A related bachelor’s degree or military equivalency plus warehouse experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or military equivalency as a baseline for leadership.
• Prior leadership experience in a warehouse setting preferred.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and productivity metrics.

Responsibilities

• Supervise at least two full-time direct reports and manage performance.
• Oversee daily and weekly production activities in warehouse operations.
• Prepare and distribute operational reports.
• Assign jobs and ensure timely completion.
• Manage vacation and time-off scheduling to minimize disruption.
• Lead floor teammates and communicate work instructions daily.
• Conduct daily startup meetings on workflows and safety.
• Drive continuous improvement and coach for change.
• Maintain 5S standards and safe working environment.
• Support inventory integrity and assist with counts.
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager on special projects.
