Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain in New Jersey seeks an Operations Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse plans, allocate resources, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency across KPIs. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military rank alternative as stated.
• Experience leading teams in warehouse or supply chain.
• Strong organizational and analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise at least two direct reports with coaching and performance management.
• Oversee daily/weekly/monthly production activities in warehouse operations.
• Prepare and distribute operational reports for day-to-day activities.
• Ensure schedules are implemented and jobs completed effectively.
• Manage vacation and time-off to minimize disruption and meet customer needs.
• Lead on-floor teams and communicate work instructions and safety practices.
• Drive coaching, feedback, and corrective actions to improve performance.
• Promote safety through weekly meetings, training, and 5S standards.
• Maintain clean, orderly work environment aligned with 5S.
• Meet objectives and KPIs through effective supervision.
• Develop productive teams via cross-training and motivation.
• Facilitate seamless handoffs and cross-team communication.
• Provide courteous customer service in high-pressure situations.
• Ensure inventory integrity and assist with cycle counts.
• Support the Operations Manager on special projects.
• Assist in maintaining facility security.
