Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Machine Operator for the 3rd shift at the Oakleys Ct site in Richmond, VA. The role builds transformer sub-assemblies with mechanical and electrical tools, following SOPs and quality checks.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to work the night shift, lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to train on cranes and winding equipment. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible hires.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs and diagrams.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work 3rd shift and overtime.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Build transformer sub-assemblies and assemblies per customer specs.
• Operate heavy industrial equipment and use fixtures and gauges.
• Conduct visual inspections of materials before/after assembly.
• Ensure quality standards and calibrate tools as needed.
• Follow safety rules and participate in 5S+ housekeeping.
