Aerotek is hiring a 3rd Shift TIG Welder Fabrication in Madison, WI. You will weld and finish stainless steel parts, operate grinding and polishing equipment, and ensure parts meet exact specifications for premium kitchen appliances.

The role requires 1+ year TIG experience on stainless, blueprint literacy, and precise measurement skills. You will work on 3rd shift (10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.) with overtime and potential growth into other technical areas within the facility.

Qualificações

• At least 1 year of TIG welding experience on stainless steel.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints for fabrication and welding operations.
• Proficiency using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures.
• Hands‑on experience with TIG welding processes in a production or fabrication environment.
• Experience running a press for at least 1 year in a manufacturing or fabrication setting.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate press brake and punch press equipment.
• Capability to operate and adjust automated, semi‑automated, and manual grinding and polishing machines.
• Strong attention to detail for visual inspection and quality control.

Responsabilidades

• Perform TIG welding and finishing on stainless steel components.
• Operate grinding and polishing machines to achieve high quality finishes.
• Load and adjust machine software for parts and optimize quality.
• Set up shift tasks and prepare fixtures and equipment.
• Read blueprints to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Visually inspect parts with micrometers and calipers.
• Maintain welding and fabrication equipment for reliable operation.
• Run press and punch press equipment as needed to support fabrication.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
• Follow safety procedures and keep work area organized.
