GE Appliances, a Haier company, is seeking a 3rd Shift Test Equipment Maintenance Tech in LaFayette, GA. You will support production by diagnosing breakdowns, installing equipment, and maintaining test systems and PLCs to ensure uptime.

The role requires knowledge of electrical devices, ability to read schematics, and experience with CMMS entries. Education includes a high school diploma and technical training; a maintenance certificate is preferred and experience in manufacturing is valued.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required; two-year degree in electronic or electrical training or equivalent in military training.
• Preferred: Industrial maintenance certificate or completion of the General Maintenance Skills Upgrade Program.
• Experience: 3 years in industrial maintenance or 5 years in manufacturing.
• Must have experience with electrical devices; ability to read schematics/blueprints; basic math; read equipment manuals; operate test equipment.

Aufgaben

• Respond to equipment breakdowns and assist in determining root cause.
• Perform project and equipment installations.
• Maintain and repair electrical, pneumatic and manual tools.
• Operate and troubleshoot computerized test equipment PCs, programming as needed.
• Monitor system performance and develop action plans to improve reliability, quality and safety.
• Support Lean signaling and FIS systems and collaborate with maintenance teams.
