Job summary

GE Appliances in Louisville, KY is seeking a Test Engineer- Manufacturing Quality on the 3rd shift. You will develop and implement test methods to enhance capabilities and output quality, drive projects through CIB, and lead test system improvements.

You will also implement Poka‑Yoke, maintain standard work, and act as the first point of contact for production floor equipment issues. The role requires a BS in Engineering or 5 years in manufacturing quality, plus 3–5 years in troubleshooting test

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent 5 years in manufacturing quality.
• 3–5 years troubleshooting and supporting manufacturing test equipment.
• Experience with quality/NPI quality projects and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new and improved test methods for capabilities and outgoing quality.
• Drive improvement projects through the CIB process and analyze test codes (leak, flow, wattage, etc.).
• Implement poke-yoke and standard work to aid operator training and consistency.
• Provide factory support; be the first point of contact for test equipment issues and maintain calibration.
