Job summary

Herr’s Nottingham, PA is seeking a Full-Time Packer to join our team on the 11pm-7am shift, Monday-Friday, with potential overtime as needed. The role supports production by assembling, labeling, sealing, and tracking products on the line, while maintaining a clean, safe work environment and meeting quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be capable of lifting 25 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to work with latex gloves, airborne seasoning, cardboard dust, cleaning solutions and hot water.
• Able to concentrate in a noisy, fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and label boxes for products from the production line.
• Ensure seals, codes, dates, and prices on bags and cases are correct.
• Remove defective products from the line.
• Clean and sanitize the work area and equipment.
• Enter production data into the ERP system and track materials and finished goods.
• Update ERP records with real-time production data.
• Monitor raw material usage and machine utilization.
• Coordinate with teams for timely material replenishment.
• Perform other ERP-related duties as assigned.

Schedule

• SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday
• SHIFT: 11pm-7am
• Additional hours may be required due to business demands.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Assemble and label boxes to be filled with products off the production line.
• Ensure proper seals, codes, dates, and prices on product bags and cases are correct.
• Take defective products off the production line.
• Clean and sanitize the work area and plant equipment.
• Ensure that manufacturing data is accurately entered and tracked in the ERP system, including production orders, materials, and finished goods.
• Update and maintain ERP records to reflect real-time data, including production status, material usage, and equipment maintenance.
• Enter production and manufacturing data into the ERP system, including raw material consumption, machine usage, labor hours, and quality control data.
• Track inventory levels in real-time and coordinate with the necessary teams to ensure timely material replenishment.
• Other ERP responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
