Herr's Foods Inc. in Chillicothe, OH seeks a Full-Time Packer for the 2:30pm–11pm shift. Eligible for a retention bonus up to $250. This is a full-time role with on-site duties and opportunity to participate in company wellness programs and paid time off.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assemble and label boxes for products from the production line.
• Ensure seals, codes, dates, and prices are correct on bags and cases.
• Remove defective products from production line.
• Clean and sanitize the work area and equipment.
• Enter production data into the ERP system and track materials.
• Track inventory levels in real time and coordinate replenishment.
• Perform other ERP-related duties as assigned.

We are currently seeking a qualified individual for our Full-Time Packer position, to join our Chillicothe, OH team!

• SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday; 2nd shift - 2:30pm-11pm
• Additional hours may be required due to business demands.

What You Need To Get Started

• Must complete a background check and pre-employment drug screen, as well as a preplacement screening which tests the ability to perform the physical requirements of the position.

• Must be able to work with latex gloves, airborne seasoning, cardboard dust, cleaning solutions, and hot water.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Assemble and label boxes to be filled with products off the production line.
• Ensure proper seals, codes, dates, and prices on product bags and cases are correct.
• Take defective products off the production line.
• Clean and sanitize the work area and plant equipment.
• Ensure that manufacturing data is accurately entered and tracked in the ERP system, including production orders, materials, and finished goods.
• Update and maintain ERP records to reflect real-time data, including production status, material usage, and equipment maintenance.
• Enter production and manufacturing data into the ERP system, including raw material consumption, machine usage, labor hours, and quality control data.
• Track inventory levels in real-time and coordinate with the necessary teams to ensure timely material replenishment.
• Other ERP responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
