Job summary

Herr Foods Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Laborer for our Nottingham, PA facility. The role runs Monday through Friday, 6am to 3:30pm, with potential overtime.

This full-time position includes benefits and eligibility for retirement plans. Candidates must be 17+, able to lift 50 pounds, and pass a background/drug screen. Work involves wet/humid conditions, exposure to cold/heat, and ERP data entry with pallet jacks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old; if under 18, working papers are required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Can work in wet/humid conditions; extreme cold and heat.
• Must perform basic arithmetic (add/subtract/multiply/divide) in all units of measure.
• Must pass background and pre-employment drug screen and preplacement screening.

Responsibilities

• Stack cases and boxes, set up a track on trailers, pick orders.
• Sort and place materials on boards, shelves, or bins by size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Move pallets with electric and manual pallet jacks.
• Accurately count and record materials and items for distribution.
• Warehouse cleanup and ERP data entry for production and inventory.

We are currently seeking a qualified individual for our Warehouse Laborer position, to join our Nottingham, PA team!

• SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday
• SHIFT: 6am-3:30pm
• Additional hours may be required due to business demands.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Stacking cases and boxes, setting up a track on trailers, picking orders, and removing cardboard from trailers.
• Mark, sort, and place materials or items on boards, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Move pallets with both electric and manual pallet jacks.
• Accurately count and record the number of materials and items for distribution.
• Warehouse clean-up.
• Is trained in the operation of the kicker stations on the chip and snack lines and understands to properly turn off air to the kicking station prior to clearing jams.
• Ensure that manufacturing data is accurately entered and tracked in the ERP system, including production orders, materials, and finished goods.
• Update and maintain ERP records to reflect real-time data, including production status, material usage, and equipment maintenance.
• Enter production and manufacturing data into the ERP system, including raw material consumption, machine usage, labor hours, and quality control data.
• Track inventory levels in real-time and coordinate with the necessary teams to ensure timely material replenishment.
• Other ERP responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
