Job summary

Herr’s in Jackson, OH is seeking a qualified Full-Time Packer to join our production team. The role involves assembling and labeling boxes, ensuring seals, codes, and dates are correct, and maintaining a clean workspace in a fast-paced environment.

You must be at least 18, pass background checks and a pre-employment drug screen, and be able to lift up to 25 pounds. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match, paid time off, and referral programs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Balance on slippery surfaces.
• Sustain concentration for up to 3 hours at a time.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and label boxes to be filled with products off the production line.
• Ensure proper seals, codes, dates, and prices on product bags and cases are correct.
• Take defective products off the production line.
• Clean and sanitize the work area and plant equipment.
• Ensure that manufacturing data is accurately entered and tracked in the ERP system, including production orders, materials, and finished goods.
• Update and maintain ERP records to reflect real-time data, including production status, material usage, and equipment maintenance.
• Enter production and manufacturing data into the ERP system, including raw material consumption, machine usage, labor hours, and quality control data.
• Track inventory levels in real-time and coordinate with the necessary teams to ensure timely material replenishment.
• Other ERP responsibilities and other duties as assigned.

We are currently seeking a qualified individual for our Full-Time Packer position, to join our Jackson, OH team!

• SCHEDULE: Monday-Thursday
• SHIFT: 1st Shift - 3:30am-3:30pm; 2nd shift - 3:30pm-3:30am
• Additional hours may be required due to business demands.

What You Need To Get Started
