Herr Foods Inc. in Nottingham, PA is seeking a Machine Operator for the night shift, Mon-Fri, 11pm-7am. This full-time role includes on-site benefits, a retention bonus up to $250, and eligibility for a 401k with company match.

You will operate packaging equipment, monitor quality, and maintain ERP records. Qualifications include 18+ years old, ability to lift 50 pounds, and 1–3 months of related mechanical experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• One to three months of related mechanical experience and/or training.
• Ability to work with latex gloves, airborne seasoning, cardboard dust, cleaning solutions, and hot water.
• Ability to work in a noisy and fast-paced environment.
• Good balance on slippery surfaces.
• Sustain concentration for up to 3 hours at a time.

Responsibilities

• Operation of computerized weigh heads, Hayssen and TNA packaging machines, and Blueprint automatic case packers.
• Observing machines to ensure correct packaging film, product weight, price, and code date.
• Prepare machines for production start-up, including changing packaging rolls and ink tape.
• Clean and sanitize plant and equipment including seasoning trays, machines, floors, ovens, etc.
• Ensure manufacturing data is entered and tracked in the ERP system.
• Update ERP records to reflect real-time data and maintenance.
• Enter production data into ERP system including raw materials and labor hours.
• Track inventory levels in real-time and coordinate material replenishment.
• Other ERP responsibilities and duties as assigned.

• SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday
• SHIFT: 11pm-7am
• Additional hours may be required due to business demands.

• Prepare machines for production start-up, including changing rolls of packaging film and ink tape as necessary.
• Cleaning and sanitizing plant and plant equipment including seasoning trays, machines, floors, ovens, etc.
• Ensure that manufacturing data is accurately entered and tracked in the ERP system, including production orders, materials, and finished goods.
• Update and maintain ERP records to reflect real-time data, including production status, material usage, and equipment maintenance.
• Enter production and manufacturing data into the ERP system, including raw material consumption, machine usage, labor hours, and quality control data.
• Track inventory levels in real-time and coordinate with the necessary teams to ensure timely material replenishment.
• Other ERP responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
