Job summary

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join Respiratory Therapy Services. This full-time, 0.9 FTE night shift position involves three 12-hour shifts per week, 7 pm–7 am, with every third weekend.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program, with a minimum of an associate degree.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner license or NBRC credentials within required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Uses respiratory therapy processes to assess patients using diverse diagnostics and lab values.
• Operates ventilators in critical and non-critical care settings and supports physicians.
• Delivers prescribed therapies and monitors patient responses per protocol.
• Maintains and troubleshoots equipment; ensures safety and functional readiness.
