Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a starter Refrigeration Department technician to clean and wash ammonia refrigeration air units and HVAC/MAUs on the roof, change filters, and shadow Refrigeration Techs for future opportunities.

The role requires working in hot/cold/wet environments, lifting over 40 lbs, climbing ladders, and standing for long periods. It is a 3rd shift position with possible overtime, background checks, and annual certifications including Level 4 pulmonary tests.

Qualifications

• 1 year maintenance experience within the immediate past 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning/washing Ammonia refrigeration air units and HVAC/MAUs on the roof.
• Shadow Refrigeration Techs to be trained in the ammonia refrigeration system.
• Create Maintenance Notifications, work orders, and confirm time into the SAP system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
