Job summary

Stanley Engineered Fastening LLC in Montpelier, IN is seeking a Punch Press Setup/Operator for 3rd shift, with training on 1st shift. Starting at $24.02 per hour plus a 7% shift differential.

You will operate the punch press, read calipers and micrometers, and ensure quality parts through die setups and adjustments. This role requires mechanical aptitude, forklift and crane operation, and ability to work overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• General mechanical knowledge required.
• Ability to drive a forklift and operate overhead cranes.
• Able to read blueprints and interpret measurements.
• Basic math skills for measurements and tolerances.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate punch press safely and efficiently.
• Read measuring tools like micrometers and calipers.
• Adjust and replace components to maintain quality.
• Complete all die setups in the press.
• Load steel and move scrap and finished parts.
• Use PIV to deliver tubs and raw material to machinery
• Move steel with cranes throughout the department.
• Load/unload and transport dies using the die cart.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards.
• Work overtime as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
