Job summary

Monti, inc. is seeking a Punch Press Operator to configure and operate electrically powered presses to punch holes in metals. This is a full-time position with a 12-hour day shift every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Responsibilities include loading materials, tooling changes, calibrating gauge settings, ensuring safety procedures, and using a forklift. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of related experience, plus blueprint reading.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years related experience required.
• Blueprint reading is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configure equipment and calibrate gauge settings.
• Recognize condition of punches and dies; ensure tooling and reorder as needed.
• Load materials onto equipment and feed material through die; position and remove parts from die.
• Change tooling between production runs.
• Maintain safety by following procedures and regulations.
• Maintain equipment per manufacturer instructions and troubleshoot.
• Operate forklift to move materials.
• Maintain 6s standards at all workstations.
• Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.
