Job summary

American Packaging Corporation (APC) is seeking a 3rd shift Production Supervisor at the DeForest, WI location. The role directs production employees, trains staff, and ensures safety and quality standards are met across all shifts.

Responsibilities include planning, directing, and evaluating work while maintaining regulatory and company policies. The position requires an Associate degree or equivalent experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with

Qualifications

• Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; with one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to present information to groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise production employees and direct work assignments.
• Train employees and conduct performance evaluations.
• Coordinate safety programs and conduct safety observations.
• Investigate incidents and follow up within 24 hours with department manager.
• Manage machine operations and ensure 5S housekeeping and inventory controls.
• Communicate with department managers on process and personnel issues.
• Oversee shift run sheets and ensure adherence to specifications.
