Job summary

American Packaging Corporation is seeking a shift supervisor for the Ink department on the 3rd shift (11pm-7am) in DeForest, Wisconsin. You will lead the crew, uphold safety, productivity and quality, and coordinate with pressroom and maintenance to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires hands-on leadership, on-the-job training, and the ability to manage materials, batches and inventory while following SPOT Safety Program fundamentals.

Qualifications

• Education (associate or bachelor’s degree) or equivalent with related experience.
• Must understand safety procedures and be able to follow the SPOT Safety Program.
• Ability to read and interpret procedure manuals and reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train Ink department crew to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Manage on-shift materials, batch labeling, and inventory as required.
• Coordinate with pressroom and maintenance to meet production goals.
• Address skill gaps and drive troubleshooting in ink processes.
• Ensure proper handoffs between shifts and clear communication.
