Job summary

C-P Flexible Packaging is seeking a hands-on Production Shift Supervisor to lead our York, PA manufacturing team on the 3rd shift. You’ll drive safety, quality, productivity and employee development while ensuring compliance with SOPs and GMP guidelines.

You will manage shift activities, coach staff, monitor metrics, plan workflow and coordinate with scheduling to maintain continuous operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Experience managing production data, reporting, and performance metrics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• ERP/MRP systems experience.
• Timekeeping and attendance systems experience.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct all activities of the personnel assigned to the shift on the production floor.
• Ensure achievement of quality, production, productivity and safety goals for department.
• Maintain the accuracy and documentation of production reporting.
• Assist the Scheduling Department in defining and maintaining work flow through the department.
• Ensure adequate supply of materials for your shift’s operation.
• Oversee employee training and evaluations.
• Direct staff on your shift and conduct disciplinary actions as required.
• Oversee vacation coverage planning and staff development.
• Direct SOP compliance including health and safety, GMP and environmental procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
