Perdue Farms is seeking a Production Supervisor for our Rockingham, NC facility. You will lead hourly teams across receiving, production, and shipping, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time output.

The role emphasizes coaching, development, and adherence to USDA/QA standards as you drive continuous improvement. The position requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and a commitment to a collaborative, high-performing work culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s/Associate’s degree candidates with no manufacturing experience must have at least 1+ year of supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a focus on associate development.
• Experience with quality control and safety standards in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities to meet schedules and quality standards.
• Lead and coach hourly associates across receiving, production, and shipping.
• Enforce safety protocols and drive a culture of safer, more efficient operations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost productivity and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize equipment use.
• Provide accurate production metrics and communicate status to management.
