Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking a Supervisor, Production for the 3rd shift. You will provide team leadership to a group focused on quality and productivity, and guide performance, development and processes to meet demand.

You will report to management on accomplishments and output, while ensuring adherence to policies and regulatory requirements. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering (or related) with at least 2 years in a manufacturing setting, including experience in regulated

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering (preferred).
Minimum 2 years of related work experience; supervision in manufacturing preferred.
Experience in Medical Device/regulated manufacturing environments (preferred).
Excellent numerical and analytical skills for fast decision making.
Fully bilingual English and Spanish with strong written and verbal communication.
Availability for 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

Implements staffing plans by identifying resource requirements and coordinating with HR.
Develops direct reports through training and progressive reviews.
Monitors daily operations and directs nonexempt staff to meet goals.
Interacts with internal/external customers, responding to requests and explaining procedures.
Interprets and enforces policies affecting the unit/department.
Ensures compliance with FDA/BSI/EEO regulations and company policies.
Schedules department work by prioritizing workload and resources.
Maintains personnel records and updates databases.
May perform individual contributor tasks in staff or professional units.
