Job summary

Vestcom is seeking a 3rd Shift Production Supervisor in Washington, DC. The role oversees Service Bureau production, equipment maintenance, and accurate inventory to meet production needs.

You will supervise associates, coordinate workflow, maintain ERP data, and ensure shipments meet customer instructions. The position requires strong communication, ERP experience, and a track record in production/printing leadership.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Five years’ related experience in production/printing industry.
• Must have at least 5 years’ supervisory experience.
• Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Intermediate PC skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook; ERP experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the activities of associates in Service Bureau production department.
• Responsible for equipment functionality and maintenance/repairs.
• Maintain inventory accuracy to meet production needs.
• Coordinate workflow and responsibilities for Service Bureau.
• Enter and release inventory in ERP; understand all systems.
• Maintain inventory records; resolve discrepancies and perform counts.
• Coordinate with other departments for material movement.
• Ensure shipments are correct and on schedule; communicate issues to teams.
• Keep work areas safe and clean; follow management instructions.
• Suggest procedural improvements and lead staff development.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and conduct performance reviews.
