Job summary

nVent is seeking a 3rd shift production leader in Minnesota to guide daily manufacturing activities, mentor staff, and drive Lean initiatives. You will ensure on-time commitments while improving processes and supporting new product development. A high school diploma is required, with Lean experience and leadership preferred.

The role emphasizes safety, payroll accuracy, and continuous improvement within a global, innovative electrical solutions company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years manufacturing leadership experience preferred.
• 2+ years Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to track payroll hours weekly.

Responsibilities

• Directly lead production employees, including training, directing, conducting performance reviews, educating, and mentoring.
• Oversee day-to-day production activities to meet commitments while improvements are made.
• Drive waste reduction through Lean methodology.
• Review and submit payroll hours on a weekly basis.
• Support new process and product development and implementation.
• Develop key improvement projects as needed.
