Job summary

North Star Sheets, an affiliate of Schwarz Partners, is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift in Cottage Grove, MN. You will supervise safety-focused production operations, coordinate staff, and drive quality output in a corrugated sheets environment.

The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks across production lines. High school diploma or GED with extensive manufacturing experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as production reports, sales reports, operating instructions, and training manuals.
• Ability to write reports and correspondence.
• Ability to communicate effectively before employees or other members of the organization.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, costs, profits, proportions, percentages, and volumes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, manage, and coordinate safe production of quality products.
• Direct, schedule, organize and monitor staff and workflow.
• Train employees and appraise performance; manage conflicts and coaching.
• Plan production processes, monitor control points, and ensure cost reductions.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and enforce safety policies.
• Review time sheets and approve payroll; ensure attendance discipline.
