Job summary

Magna Engineered Glass seeks a Production Team Lead to guide and prioritize the activities of the manufacturing team, including temporary staff, to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets. This role supports a safe workplace and drives continuous improvement within the MAFACT Production System.

Accountable to the Shift Supervisor for achieving production targets, labor efficiency, and maintaining high standards.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills to interact with internal contacts at all levels.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to connect work priorities with operational procedures.
• Proven leadership and staff development experience.
• Motivate and inspire teams to meet goals.
• English proficiency required; Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and prioritize manufacturing team including temporary staff to meet production targets.
• Maintain a safe work environment and participate in continuous improvement.
• Oversee schedule attainment and MES usage on the line.
• Communicate performance and deviations to supervisors and teams.
• Manage labor efficiency and takt time adherence.
