Job summary

Natures Bakery in Salt Lake City, Utah is seeking a Shift Supervisor to coordinate the packaging team, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to production schedules. The role focuses on maintaining clean, safe work areas and effective communication with production leaders to support overall plant performance.

You will oversee start-up, changeovers, and shut-downs of packaging equipment, train and coach team members, and ensure that packing standards and KPI targets are met daily.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating a production team to meet quality and safety targets.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and GMP/OSHA practices.
• Ability to train, coach, and motivate team members and manage shifting schedules.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of the packaging team to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Maintain a neat, safe, and orderly work area following GMP and OSHA requirements.
• Lead start-up, changeover, and shut-down of packaging equipment.
• Develop and communicate KPI metrics; prepare daily production and staffing reports.
• Pass down training, company values, and SOPs to new hires.
