Job summary

Mill Rock Packaging is seeking a Production Shift Supervisor (2nd Shift) to lead the Salt Lake City production floor onsite, driving safety, quality, and efficiency. You will guide hourly staff, enforce best practices, and report on shift performance while coordinating with maintenance and management to meet daily targets.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in production operations.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Knowledge of HACCP and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct workflow for all hourly production employees on night shift.
• Lead crew to meet or exceed production goals with minimal defects and enforce standards.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
• Submit reports on performance and progress to management.
• Monitor production output and adjust schedules as needed.
• Identify efficiency issues and propose improvements.
• Communicate policies and goals with managers and shift team.
• Investigate shift accidents and coordinate corrective actions with management.
