Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in business or related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 2–5 years of leadership experience in production or manufacturing.
• SQF, BRC, or AIB certification knowledge desired.
• Strong computer skills with warehouse management systems, ERP, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Execute production schedule to meet customer orders and maintain quality and food safety.
• Establish employee schedules and coordinate work of production associates to achieve plant goals.
• Train, coach, and supervise new and existing employees.
• Use performance measurement systems to provide feedback on productivity, cost, quality, and safety.
• Hold employees accountable for attendance, GMPs, productivity metrics, and SOP compliance.
• Manage production labor budget and report on direct labor, production efficiencies, quality, and safety.
• Manage equipment downtime and minimize product loss.
• Participate in pre-operation audits and address deficiencies.
• Maintain safe working conditions.
• Collaborate with Human Resources on personnel and performance issues.
• Support food safety and legality of products.
